On move 38, Black resigns, as the Chessmaster recommends Black's next move would be K-g6 followed by the following scenario:

Analysis: You move your rook to f3, which moves it to safety and attacks Black's pawn at g3. Black responds with king to h5. You move your pawn to d5, which threatens Black's pawn at e6. Black answers with pawn takes pawn, exd5, which threatens your pawn at e4 and isolates your pawn at e5 and your pawn at e4. Your pawn takes pawn, exd5, which creates a passed pawn on d5. Black responds by moving king to g5. You move your pawn to e6, which advances the passed pawn. Black responds by moving the pawn to a4. You move your pawn to e7, which adds a promote threat at e7. Black counters with the king to h6. Your rook takes pawn, Rxg3, which creates a passed pawn on g2. Black counters with the king to h7. You move your pawn to e8 with a queen promotion, which threatens mate (queen to h5) and threatens Black's pawn.

As a result of this line of play, you win two pawns for a pawn. Additionally, you gain a queen through promotion. Also, the pressure on Black's King is somewhat increased.
